Interactive rhythm game teaching violin finger placements
VIA was the idea of Alexandria Mueller to teach the basics of reading sheet music and finger placements on a violin. The game featured rhythm style gameplay (think: Guitar Hero) and a virtual representation of the fretboard on a violin. The student plays through various stages that increase in difficulty by introducing new strings and new keys progressively. We did not finish the project, but we produced a completely playable prototype in Flash that worked on an Android tablet.
