Interactive yoga pose game using the first generation Microsoft Kinect
This project was only a week long during spring break. It uses the Microsoft Kinect to detect a yoga pose that the user standing in front of it is holding. This was a fun problem to solve as to detect these poses required trigonometry and had to be compatible with different body sizes. The objective was to help with research for those with autism. There is difficulty for those with autism and controlling their body with their eyes closed. This interactive game would help researchers investigate this correlation, as well as serve as an enjoyable experience for the patient.
